NATE CHURCH BOATS
Here we are, middle of January. Bitter cold temps recently. Patriots lost. Inflation raging. Right now, most recreational boaters are thinking about anything but boating.
I'm bringing in an older cuddy cabin this week to replace the deck tank. The owner, a local business owner and family man, COULD go take out a loan for an overpriced boat from one of the local boat yards. Instead, he's putting some money into a hull he owns, which he got for cheap because it wasn't pretty. He's doing this now so that it's ready to go (and paid for!) at the start of the boating season. He planned ahead, looked for a fiberglass shop willing to do what he wants done, and will be on the water for a tiny fraction of the boater next to him at the launch ramp in July.
Congrats to him. He's going against the grain (against the tide). I'm looking forward to this project.
